In 2021, Chris Hayes was also awarded the KWRI RED Shoe Leader Award. As Red Shoe Leader Awardee, Chris Hayes was recognized as an individual that has had a positive impact on fostering gender inclusivity in Keller Williams culture.

In 2020, Chris Hayes was awarded the title of Keller-Williams’ Cultural Ambassador. This lifetime appointment is given to select individuals who embrace and champion the Keller-Williams culture. As a Cultural Ambassador, Chris promotes a winning positive culture at home, work, and within the community of Shreveport and Bossier.

Hi! I’m Chris Hayes.

Let me tell you a bit about me:

I’m an Adult… Maybe: I grew up and graduated high school in the Shreveport area. Afterwards I move to San Jose, California to attend college in the good-ole ‘80s! After graduating in 1989 with my Bachelor degree, I passed the CPA exam and worked for a large public accounting firm in San Jose. Shortly thereafter (and gratefully because my parent’s let me stay at home), I purchased my first property and I was hooked for the real estate sales business!

Humble Pie! In 1996, I moved back home to the South —- family trumps all! While my parents thought they sent me off to college to “get some smarts”, I actually came back home pretty much broke and with my tail tucked…. a series of dumb money decisions in your 20s will do that. Fortunately, my parents allowed me to come back to the nest to get my feet back on my feet —- and I took that opportunity seriously to learn from my mistakes.

So What Happened Next? I got purposeful about my life - in a lot of areas… career, spiritual, marriage, wellness and well-being. For my career, I focused on taking care of client’s real estate objectives with the intention of exceeding expectations by really listening to their needs, building systems (like the Team Concept, Guaranteed Home Sale, Consumer Info & Education Reports, etc.) around those needs so we could serve more clients AND better.

And These Days: In February 2022, I will be celebrating my 30th year as a professional real estate agent - I’m honored and humbled because I enjoy this career immensely and I know God had this in His plan for me. I’ve sold better than 2,500 homes and very often 100+ homes annually - it a joy to be able to solve home seller’s real estate problems and serve home buyer’s real estate dreams. 🙂 (You may read more in About if you’re interested).

I am married now for over 12 years to my incredible wife Dana and I have a super neat 20 year-old daughter named Brinn in college. We have 3 dogs and 2 cats (yup, we are those people)! Life is beautiful.
